The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS T-Model and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS T-Model is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS T-Model . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.

In some countries it is not allowed to use a bicycle carrier with this towbar because there is no option to automatically switch off the fog lights.

The socket is connected with pin 9 to the steady plus. Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
