Are you looking for a specific electrical kit suitable for your MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS Convertible? Then this 13-pin electrical kit from Erich Jaeger is the right one. The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS Convertible and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS Convertible is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS Convertible . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

In some countries it is not allowed to use a bicycle carrier with this towbar because there is no option to automatically turn off the fog lights.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the permanent positive current function. It is possible to extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge the trailer battery.
