The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your PORSCHE MACAN with a push on a dashboard button. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your PORSCHE MACAN. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
