The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your VW CRAFTER Van and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your VW CRAFTER Van with a push on a dashboard button. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW CRAFTER Van. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the steady plus (to operate electrical loads). Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
