This 13 pin electric wiring kit from Erich Jaeger is made specifically for your VW CRAFTER Platform/Chassis . The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your VW CRAFTER Platform/Chassis and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your VW CRAFTER Platform/Chassis with a push on a dashboard button. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW CRAFTER Platform/Chassis. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

The socket is connected with pin 9 to the steady plus. Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
