This 13 pin electric wiring kit from Erich Jaeger is made specifically for your VW CRAFTER Bus . The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your VW CRAFTER Bus and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.
If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your VW CRAFTER Bus with a push on a dashboard button. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your VW CRAFTER Bus . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the permanent positive current function. It is possible to extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge the trailer battery.
