This 13 pin Erich Jaeger wiring kit is made specifically for your MAN TGE Van. The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your MAN TGE Van and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.
If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your MAN TGE Van with a push on a dashboard button. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MAN TGE Van. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the permanent positive current function. It is possible to extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge the trailer battery.
