The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ A-CLASS Saloon and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

You could even turn off the parking assistance of your MERCEDES-BENZ A-CLASS Saloon with a push on a dashboard button. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ A-CLASS Saloon. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

The socket is connected with pin 9 to the steady plus. Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
