This 13 pin Erich Jaeger wiring kit is made specifically for your MERCEDES-BENZ GLA. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ GLA . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

If available you can turn off parking assistance of your MERCEDES-BENZ GLA with a button on your dashboard. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ GLA. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the steady plus (to operate electrical loads). Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
