This 13 pin electric wiring kit from Erich Jaeger is made specifically for your BMW 1 . This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your BMW 1 . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your BMW 1 is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
