This 13 pin electric wiring kit from Erich Jaeger is made specifically for your BMW 2 Coupe . The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your BMW 2 Coupe and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your BMW 2 Coupe is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the steady plus (to operate electrical loads). Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
