This 13 pin Erich Jaeger wiring kit is made specifically for your BMW X3. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your BMW X3, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your BMW X3. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the steady plus (to operate electrical loads). Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
