This 13 pin electric wiring kit from Erich Jaeger is made specifically for your BMW 3 Gran Turismo . This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your BMW 3 Gran Turismo . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your BMW 3 Gran Turismo is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your BMW 3 Gran Turismo. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

The socket is connected with pin 9 to the steady plus. Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
