This 13 pin electric wiring kit from Erich Jaeger is made specifically for your KIA SORENTO IV . This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the KIA SORENTO IV. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your KIA SORENTO IV with a push on a dashboard button. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed KIA SORENTO IV installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your KIA SORENTO IV. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the permanent positive current function. It is possible to extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge the trailer battery.
