This 13 pin electric wiring kit from Erich Jaeger is made specifically for your MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS . This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. Attention! The vehicle does not require coding with this electrical kit.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS with a push on a dashboard button. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

In some countries it is not allowed to use a bicycle carrier with this towbar because there is no option to automatically turn off the fog lights.
