The towbar and electrical kit developed specifically for your BMW X1 allow you to tow a trailer up to 2050 kg. Thanks to the 110 kg vertical load, this complete set is perfectly prepared for the transport of bicycles with one of our bike carriers.
The vehicle does not need to be inspected by an expert after the complete set has been installed. There is also no need for an entry in the vehicle documentation of your BMW X1 . The instructions in your vehicle user manual, issued by the vehicle manufacturer, must be complied with. It is possible that the parking assist sensors of the car detect the tow ball. In reverse the towbar could be recognized as an obstacle. If your vehicle has a parking assistance system, we recommend that you install a detachable towbar.
