Are you looking for a specific electrical kit suitable for your VW AMAROK? Then this 13-pin electrical kit from TowTec is the right one. The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your VW AMAROK and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed VW AMAROK installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW AMAROK. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
