This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your MINI MINI COOPER. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your MINI MINI COOPER . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed MINI COOPER MINI COOPER installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your MINI MINI COOPER . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the permanent positive current function. It is possible to extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge the trailer battery.
