The 7-pin electrical kit for theBMW 3 is produced by the manufacturer TowTec.

If your car has a parking assistance feature, it can be automatically shut down by the optional item 171084 when the trailer is coupled to the towbar. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 7 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1 hours for installation. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

To automatically switch off the rear fog lamp(s) of your BMW 3 , you can use this accessory: 171084. in Iome countries this accessory is required as the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported.
