This 7-pin electrical kit for the MERCEDES-BENZ M-CLASS is produced by the manufacturer TowTec.

The parking assistance feature can be automatically shut down when the trailer is coupled to the towbar. For this function you need this additional accessory: 171084. TowTec specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 7 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1 hour(s). It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

To automatically turn off the rear fog lamp(s) of your MERCEDES-BENZ M-CLASS, accessory 171084 can be used. If a self-actuating shut-off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not possible, a bicycle carrier cannot be installed in some countries.
