If your car has a parking assistance feature, it can be automatically shut down by the optional item 171084 when the trailer is coupled to the towbar. TowTec specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 7 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1 hour(s). The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.

To automatically turn off the rear fog lamp(s) of your FORD TRANSIT CONNECT V408 Box Body/MPV, accessory 171084 can be used. If a self-actuating shut-off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not possible, a bicycle carrier cannot be installed in some countries.
