This 7-pin electrical kit for the BMW X5 is produced by the manufacturer TowTec.

The parking assistance feature can be automatically shut down when the trailer is coupled to the towbar. For this function you need this additional accessory: 171084. TowTec specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 7 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1 hour(s). The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.

To automatically switch off the rear fog lamp(s) of your BMW X5 , you can use this accessory: 171084. in Iome countries this accessory is required as the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported.
