This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your VW CADDY III Box Body/MPV . This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your VW CADDY III Box Body/MPV . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your VW CADDY III Box Body/MPV is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed CADDY III Box Body/MPV CADDY III Box Body/MPV installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW CADDY III Box Body/MPV. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
