This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your VW PASSAT B6. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your VW PASSAT B6, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your VW PASSAT B6 is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed VW PASSAT B6 installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW PASSAT B6. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. TowTec specifies an intallation time of 2.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 2 hour(s). The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
