This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your SEAT ALTEA XL . After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your SEAT ALTEA XL, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your SEAT ALTEA XL is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed SEAT ALTEA XL installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your SEAT ALTEA XL. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of 2.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 2 hours for installation. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
