This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your VW GOLF VI Variant. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your VW GOLF VI Variant . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed GOLF VI Variant GOLF VI Variant installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW GOLF VI Variant. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of 2.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 2 hours for installation. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
