This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your VW GOLF VI Convertible . The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your VW GOLF VI Convertible and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed VW GOLF VI Convertible installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW GOLF VI Convertible. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of 2.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 2 hours for installation. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
