This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your VW BEETLE. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your VW BEETLE . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your VW BEETLE is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed VW BEETLE installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW BEETLE. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of 2.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 2 hours for installation. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
