This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your PORSCHE CAYENNE. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your PORSCHE CAYENNE . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed CAYENNE CAYENNE installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your PORSCHE CAYENNE. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
