This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your VW ARTEON . This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your VW ARTEON . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your VW ARTEON is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed ARTEON ARTEON installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW ARTEON. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.

The socket is connected with pin 9 to the steady plus. Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
