This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your SKODA OCTAVIA IV. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your SKODA OCTAVIA IV, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your SKODA OCTAVIA IV is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed SKODA OCTAVIA IV installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your SKODA OCTAVIA IV. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the permanent positive current function. It is possible to extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge the trailer battery.
