The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your VW GOLF VIII Variant and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed GOLF VIII Variant GOLF VIII Variant installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your VW GOLF VIII Variant . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit.

The socket is connected with pin 9 to the steady plus. Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
