This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your CUPRA LEON. The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your CUPRA LEON and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed CUPRA LEON installation manual. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your CUPRA LEON . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the steady plus (to operate electrical loads). Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
