This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS Coupe. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS Coupe, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS Coupe is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS Coupe installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS Coupe. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the steady plus (to operate electrical loads). Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
