This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your MERCEDES-BENZ SPRINTER 5-t Van. The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ SPRINTER 5-t Van and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ SPRINTER 5-t Van is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed MERCEDES-BENZ SPRINTER 5-t Van installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ SPRINTER 5-t Van. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
