This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your MERCEDES-BENZ EQA. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your MERCEDES-BENZ EQA, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed MERCEDES-BENZ EQA installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ EQA. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
