This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your VOLVO V70 III. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your VOLVO V70 III . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. Attention! The vehicle does not require coding with this electrical kit.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your VOLVO V70 III with a push on a dashboard button. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed V70 III V70 III installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your VOLVO V70 III . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
