This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your VOLVO XC70 II. This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the VOLVO XC70 II. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your VOLVO XC70 II with a push on a dashboard button. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed XC70 II XC70 II installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VOLVO XC70 II. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
