This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your JEEP COMPASS . This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your JEEP COMPASS . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. Attention! The vehicle does not require coding with this electrical kit.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your JEEP COMPASS with a button on your dashboard. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your JEEP COMPASS . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
