This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your FIAT TIPO Saloon . This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the FIAT TIPO Saloon. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your FIAT TIPO Saloon is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your FIAT TIPO Saloon. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge is available separately. It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer. The extension set for the steady plus function is available under order number 107650. You can also ask us about the right extension set to charge a separate battery in the trailer.
