This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your MERCEDES-BENZ V-CLASS. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your MERCEDES-BENZ V-CLASS, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your MERCEDES-BENZ V-CLASS with a button on your dashboard. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ V-CLASS. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
