This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your SEAT LEON. This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the SEAT LEON. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your SEAT LEON is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your SEAT LEON . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to a steady plus function. And pin 10 can be used for trailer 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
