This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your SEAT LEON Sportstourer . This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the SEAT LEON Sportstourer. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your SEAT LEON Sportstourer . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
