This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your CUPRA FORMENTOR . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. Attention! The vehicle does not require coding with this electrical kit.
An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your CUPRA FORMENTOR is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your CUPRA FORMENTOR. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
The trailer socket is connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging. This extension set is ideal to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
