This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your VW CADDY V Box Body/MPV . This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the VW CADDY V Box Body/MPV. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module kit. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW CADDY V Box Body/MPV. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
The trailer socket is connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging. This extension set is ideal to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
