This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your FORD USA RANGER Extended Cab Pickup. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your FORD USA RANGER Extended Cab Pickup, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

If available you can turn off parking assistance of your FORD USA RANGER Extended Cab Pickup with a button on your dashboard.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
