This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your VW AMAROK. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your VW AMAROK, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
You could even turn off the parking assistance of your VW AMAROK with a push on a dashboard button.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
