This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your JAGUAR E-PACE . This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your JAGUAR E-PACE . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. Attention! The vehicle does not require coding with this electrical kit.
You could even turn off the parking assistance of your JAGUAR E-PACE with a push on a dashboard button. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed JAGUAR E-PACE installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your JAGUAR E-PACE. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
In some countries it is not allowed to use a bicycle carrier with this towbar because there is no option to automatically switch off the fog lights.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
