This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your JAGUAR I-PACE. This 13-pin electrical kit is easily integrated into the existing data bus system of your JAGUAR I-PACE. If the trailer lights are damaged, the car's own system will signal the fault. Manual coding is not required with this electrical kit.
You could even turn off the parking assistance of your JAGUAR I-PACE with a push on a dashboard button. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed JAGUAR I-PACE installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
In some countries it is not allowed to use a bicycle carrier with this towbar because there is no option to automatically switch off the fog lights.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
