This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your CITROËN C5 X . After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your CITROËN C5 X, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your CITROËN C5 X is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your CITROËN C5 X. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
